Lloyd Ellery Brown Sr. Obituary (1936 - 2011)

Lloyd "Ellery" Brown Sr."Brownie", 75 of Norridgewock passed away peacefully on Dec. 7, 2011in Skowhegan, Maine, with his loving family by his side. He was born on Aug. 3, 1936 in Norridgewock, Maine, the son of the late Elsie (Lane) and Lester Brown. Ellery (Brownie) has owned and operated Brownies Janitorial Service since 1963, starting in Connecticut and continuing here in central Maine. Brownie also drove school bus for SAD 54 for many years and also acted as Superintendent of the Norridgewock Water District for some time. Ellery is survived by his loving wife Geneva (Morgan) Brown, his daughter Debbie Brown and companion Brian Alexander; his son Lloyd E. Brown Jr. and his wife Cheryl; his son Randy Brown and his wife Penny; his grandchildren Mathew and Jennifer Brown. He was predeceased by his mother Elsie (Lane) and Lester Brown, three brothers and three sisters. There will be a graveside service on Saturday December 10, 2011 at 11am at the Oak cemetery in Norridgewock, Maine. The Brown family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Redington Fairview Hospital and especially Dr. Renfrew for his years of dedicated care and friendship.
